Frequently Asked Questions

What does a day look like on the trip?

We wake up before breakfast, spend some time with the Lord reading and prayer, and eat together as a team. We’ll either go through a team devotion or explain the day’s activities before leaving for the day’s ministry.

We usually break for lunch and continue with the afternoon ministry before coming back for a dinner and a church service. The team usually meets to unwind and celebrate what the Lord did before allowing free time for the evening on the porch.

What if I don’t speak Spanish?

We don’t expect anyone to come in fluent (although it’s a huge bonus). We will have translators on the team and in the field who will help you to communicate with our local friends. Learning Spanish is a plus!

How can I raise funds for the trip?

If the Lord is calling you on the trip, He will provide for you. It all begins with prayer.

While continuing in prayer, we recommend sending out a support letter and beginning fundraising. Feel free to contact us for suggestions on fundraisers or support letters. Note that all donations made to your trip whether by you or someone else are all tax deductible.
